SoHa Living
SoHa Living is a home and gift store founded in 2002 by sisters Brooke Watson and Shyrah Maurer. The name “SoHa” stands for “South of Hawai’i,” reflecting their inspiration from travels to Southeast Asia and their desire to bring unique items back to their home islands. The brand embodies a lifestyle of leisure, vacation, discovery, coastal chic, and tropical luxury.
Initially, SoHa Living offered a variety of home decor and gift items sourced from their travels. In 2008, the company shifted focus by downsizing, discontinuing furniture lines, relocating to Kahala Mall, and adding “Living” to its name to emphasize a lifestyle brand.
In 2014, SoHa Living opened a warehouse and creative hub in Kaka‘ako, where they began producing more Hawai‘i-themed goods in-house. This shift allowed them to offer a growing range of exclusive products like totes, pillows, candles, wooden signs, and other keepsakes designed with their signature aesthetic and often made locally.
SoHa Living operates several locations across Hawai’i, including stores in Kahala Mall, Kailua, Hale’iwa, Waikīkī, and Ko Olina. SoHa Living is dedicated to crafting and curating products that celebrate meaningful memories and special moments. The brand’s mission is to evoke a sense of joy and relaxation, offering customers a chance to discover thoughtfully designed treasures that feel both personal and inspiring. The sisters also created SoHa Keiki, a playful extension of the brand focused on children. With products designed for little ones, SoHa Keiki brings the same spirit of fun, imagination, and island life to a younger generation.
